Thousand Words, a (2012)

Silence is... I used this joke already!
I would have thought a film about Eddie Murphy not talking would be worth seeing. It wasn't. Instead, you get to listen to him rant, and spout out sentence after sentence of nonsense until he is cursed. His curse consists of being linked to a tree that is ultimately going to lead to his demise, if he keeps talking. The one redeeming factor of this films is Ruby Dee, playing Murphy's mother, who is in a nursing home battling Alzheimer's. She actually saves the film for the five or so minutes she is on screen, and brought it up from a lower grade. I honestly don't like hating Eddie Murphy, because he is such a talent, but he keeps making these awful films.
