Other F Word, the (2011)

Swing Life Away
This was a wonderful documentary about punk rock icons who became fathers. These are the bands I grew up listening to, and now they are in a position where their identity as anti-authority figures is being compromised by trying to raise children, and they couldn't be happier. The way they talked about their fathers made me glad to grow up with such a great man as a role model. The way they talked about being fathers made me want to be that great man. This also had the best soundtrack of any film I have ever seen. This will stand along "The Filth and the Fury", "The End of the Century", "Joe Strummer: the Future is Unwritten", and "American Hardcore" as one of the great punk-rock-docs. I bet you didn't even know that was a thing.
