Project X (2012)

No Sleep 'til Pasadena!
I expect to catch a lot of flack for this, but "Project X" was predictable, and yet, a lot of fun. This film has many elements I don't like: drunken partying, a Rush Limbaugh level of misogyny, and it's a found footage film. Somehow, despite all of this, I was howling with laughter, and enjoying watching a trio of friends get through a night of complete debauchery. I think it could be attributed to a dog tied to some balloons, a little person jumping from an oven to hand out nut shots like it was his job, and two hardcore preteen security guards doing unruly things. "Project X" isn't without it's problems, the lame love story for one, but, overall, I enjoyed it.
